Troops

You can train troops in Barracks. Each troop type has their respective abilities. It's a real test for commanders on how to select and arrange troops.

Troops

Image Type Category Range Description
Pikemen Light infantry Short-range A single Pikeman is vulnerable and can be easily defeated. However, if they gather together, they become very strong and even make dragons shiver.
Archers Light infantry Long-range Our ancestors have already learnt the tricks of bows and arrows. Now they've developed into a powerful ranged weapon. When arrows fall like raindrops, no one is able to stay calm.
Hoplites Heavy infantry Short-range Heavy armors help troops withstand the enemies' fierce attacks, while their strong swords help them penetrate through obstacles.
Knights Light knight Short-range Being a Knight is every boy's dream; marrying a Knight is every girl's dream. Knights strictly follow their 8 golden rules and vow their royalty to the King, meticulously carrying out his orders.
Catapults Ballistic device Long-range Inspired by Cyclopses, the imperial engineers created this machine. Catapults can deal significant damage to enemies by easily hurling huge boulders dozens of meters away with only a few steps.
Sorcerers Light infantry Long-range Some people are smart enough but are born with frail bodies that hinder them from seeking martial abilities. So they throw all their efforts into sorcery and became independent sorcerers.
Royal Knights Heavy knight Short-range Not every Knight can be called upon a Royal Knight. Only the best and the most loyal Knights are able to be granted this title. They've been through troubles and trails, they've earned glorious honor. Each Royal Knight deserves to be called a Legend.

Strength and Weakness

Each troop type has its own strength and weakness.

For example, archers cannot deal big damages to heavily-armored infantries like hoplites, but sorcerers can.

So remember to arrange your troops wisely so that their advantages can help you achieve better results.
