Depends on the offense. Alts are allowed as long as they are legal and aren't being used to have an unfair advantage

See, the problem with doing exactly that is it creates more people who, instead of moving on from Haypi, grow to hate the game and take action against it, not to mention it exacerbates the issue this thread is addressing. I'm sure if second chances were given, no more would banned players be able to complain they had never received a warning, and due to a "lack of response" as they call it, become angrier over time and soon want to strike back.

As per the suggestion I made previously, anyone left in the community either never would have been or would not currently be a cheater.

Re: Restoring the Haypi Community

I certainly don't hate the game. I have spent an inordinate amount of time and money playing. I love the game.

However, I hate how "support" is:

1) Enforcing a User Agreement that is poorly written and ambiguous.
2) Uneven and unfair with how rules are enforced.
3) Will allow players to break the rules if the player is on "buddy-buddy" terms with a member of support (and even unban them!)
4) Can be sweet talked into reversing previous banning decisions against players if their friends are persuasive enough. (I am supposedly banned because of "multiple alts and sharing accounts" and there is a 106 player that made real life threats to another player to disclose very private sms content that was recently allowed back into the game.)
5) Give absolutely NO warning to players that are about to be banned. (In my experience, I only know of one player that was warned before being banned.)
6) Refuse to have an mature discussion (or any communication for that matter) with a banned player.
7) Tracking UDID's, which is technically not allowed since the release of iOS 5.

I recommend sending your grievance to kingdomsupport@haypi.com to help with that problem. Support has really handled the s117 situation well :)

Re: Restoring the Haypi Community

Although I greatly appreciate the suggestion, I have a half-dozen emails that have been sent to this address. All are unanswered except for my original inquiry as to why I was banned.

Re: Restoring the Haypi Community

My view is very straight forward. You glitch, you get perm ban without chance of being reinstated.
I am one of top players on S105 and after a year away from the game, I came back to find several of my top rank opponents banned for cheating. Not that this wasent obvious from the start.
On the other hand I was soon accused of glitching troops myself when I had no knowledge there was a glitch around still. A bit of digging up to get up to date and many of the points mentionned here are seen to be true.
Support doesnt act against high $ spenders unless very severe offence.

With the release of mines a very big change to rules should have been brought in. Even if a player who shares accounts and does not use them to feed his main, he can still gain massive unfair advantages through them. Mainly for alliance feeding to maintain army.

If anybody knows, what kid of proof do you need to get someone banned for acc sharing?
Does open admitting it on wc and in letter that a certain player was "looking after my acc" count? or answering "only once" and "not anymore" when asked if their alliance leader buys them coin?

Sorry to be jumping all over the place... trying to cover too many points at once.

People can accuse because they are jealous but end of the day Support has the logs to verify if a player truly cheated. They investigate every claim to make sure everyone receives fair treatment. For account sharing they have logs of the ip addresses that access each account and if they are used with any other account. My suggestion is to never share an account because if the person who helps your account gets banned, your account will also be banned

@Arythy: To each their own. You glitch, you don't deserve mercy or redemption. Why would we want such scum that cheat to ruin others fun to stay in the community? Just begone with that rubbish and make sure to make their account bans span thru every server so they can never ruin another players Haypi experience again

A) It sounds like you either didn't read my post or do not see the reasoning I put forth in it...I say this because you have yet to address many of the things that I said pertaining to giving second chances.

Re: Restoring the Haypi Community

lol rico you are fighting a losing battle here... give it up.. the people want to see second chances for people who got banned at least to either reaffirm that it is correct they should be banned or to reinstate them to full game play. you cant deny that this is a bad thing to allow a second chance after you have recieved so many second chances and warnings from support yourself so dont act all holier than though cos everyone makes mistakes. and if people dont deserve a secondd chance then resign your title and leave the game yourself.
how do you let people know if your hot cakes are selling well?
