as well as upgrading resources, creating soldiers, and building
defenses. Creating one soldier subtracts one wheat resource
per hour, so upgrading this is essential for a large army.
E. Iron Mine-creates iron used in upgrading resources,
creating soldiers, and building defenses.
F. Lumber Mill-creates wood used in upgrading resources,
creating soldiers, and building defenses.
G. Tech Center-holds technology upgrades to enhance the
speed of resources, shooting abilities, scouting abilities,
defenses, marching speed, attack, and defensive skills.
Upgrading technology only requires money, but is largely
time consuming and costs more per level of upgrade.
H. City Wall-holds defensive weaponry including traps, and
gun turrets (even though they didn't have guns at that time
period )
I. Cranny-holds resources from others who have attacked you
and win against you. Upgrading the cranny increases the
amount of resources held from them.
J. Warehouse-controls the amount of resources you can hold at
one time. Upgrading increases the amount that can be held,
which is extremely useful to upgrade if you don't plan on
visiting the game very often a.k.a. the passive player.
K. Marketplace-obviously, this is the place where you sell
your goods and treasures to other players, and is the center
of the economy. Prices go up and down depending on how
much people need a certain good. No, you can't
upgrade this one.
Now all of these buildings work in conjunction to help you build the empire
you envisioned to have, but trust me, patience is a freakin'
virtue in this game. Every time you upgrade, create, or
recruit, a timer pops up on the top of the screen that
counts down
until it is created and is usable. Only two
buildings can be upgraded at a time, plus two technologies,
and two defense weapons. The timer continues while you're
away because you register for an account, and in turn keeps
track of all of your timers and resources.
Now, down to the nitty gritty crap. The tabs. I'll keep it
simple.
A. Chat-World chat, Alliance chat, and Private chat. You can
add friends to talk to on Private chat.
B. Alliance-your, what else, alliance. Your group, posse,
gang, click, homies, all that wonderful stuff. Join one,
stay active, and they'll help you. Or create one. Its all up
to you.
C. Tasks-basically things you need to do in order to get
yourself up and running, and you get prizes from them too!
D. Help-Duh, its a help guide.
E. Ranking-personal, alliance, and prestige ranking game
wide.
F. Shop-shop for coins, which costs REAL money. They help
enhance speeds of timers, or can be used for buying
treasures which adds points to your general tab, which
brings us to...
G. General-shows your prestige (used to level up),
title/level, your attack, defense, speed, and fortune, your
skills, and treasures you have equipped.
H. Map-shows the map. You see oases (used for hunting for
treasure, or occupy for resources), and where other people's
cities are.
I. Cities-your...cities. Surprise!
J. Actions-harvesting hunt expeditions, and commanding
attacks.
