New Equipment Enhancement System

Well they are parting the rich players from the others which means. That player who buy coins are much more stronger. All others who want to play for free, are just not strong enough to even scrap most coin players. Its so crappy.

I have a decent amount of coins and I haven't purchased any of them. You don't have to spend money to get coins. It is unfortunate that this update was only geared towards coin player though....

Not geared toward coin spenders? I very much have to disagree. Just about every feature added involved coins. Opening a chest costs coins,enhancing equipment costs coins, and I assume that recalling dispatched troops costs coins. The chest and dispatch thing is fine with me but the enhancing equipment ticks me off. Equipment was fine the way it was. Coin spenders very much gain an advantage. If something is fine and working perfect don't go an make a change like that. I personally just think Haypi is getting a bit greedy.

1. you dont have to open the chest you can sell it
2. you dont have to use coins you can build up your wnhancement stone number by gaining them in hunts and daily gift.
3. dispatch recall im not discussing cos we have war recall and thats always cost coins this is just the same but for dispatches

haypi was working fine but it needed a change, however change needs to be introduced slowly so that there isnt such a negative reaction to the change.

this implementation of change displays classic change theories where people react negatively to the change as so much has occured so quickly. if this had been introduced slowly haypi would not have the massive number of complaints they are currently receiving

I'd really be interested in the question of legacy (gambling and underage), anybody?

it would be an interesting topic but unfortunately there is no point. apple allowed this update through which means there is nothing technically wrong. its just a moral choice now.

I'm certain that the gambling thing in games does not apply here. They do however apply to games that are created for ONLY paying players, for the sole purpose of competing to win a prize. Please correct me if I'm mistaken.
I've played many browser text based games where they've needed a gambling license to hold "supporters only" rounds. (supporters being paying players).
Haypi however isn't like that at all.

Ok thx for clarifying red it's not illegal. But I see it as gambling as coins are USUALLY. Bought buy not nessecarily. I guess it's the players choice in the end but all mine are going to npc as I don't wish to get back into old habits

according to me the enhancement of equipement screwed the game... this is my prediction: non coiners will notice that hey cant compete against coiners who can spend 200-300$ just to max enhance their items and they will leave. i think i'm not wrong if i say that 50-75% of the players of haypi are non coiners, so imagine when all those players will quit... the servers will be inactive or more inactives than it was on s1 before the merge... some ppl say that enhancement coins could be get on hunts and dayligift and that is enough, but it is not, in 3 days i just hunted 2 stones and that is all, so with the risk of a failure of enhancing items, it would take several months to be able to get 1 item to lvl 20.
