Thanks Haypi...

For making even more of a gap between spenders and non-spenders.

Re: Thanks Haypi...

Why would you facepalm effective business decisions?

They allow people to play for free, and to sustain the business they charge for perks that some players may choose to benefit from, in return supporting a business.

Well I know that. It was obvious from the time they said they were going to improve items. It just makes the game even harder for people that don't spend. At least before it was a somewhat acceptable gap but now it's just going to be impossible for the majority of players to even have a chance.

Enhancement stones can be gained through hunts and daily gifts. Additionally bought on the marketplace. They haven't left these players behind as such, but they have continued to have the same 'gap' present whereby coin players can achieve the enhancements faster. Much like they can get level 15 gear faster, or gain pres faster through warps.

Simply, if you don't spend coins you can advance, just slower. The only set in stone difference between coin players and non, are the level 16-20 resource upgrades.

No.. much much much slower is more like it. I just had an alliance member use 1380 coins to get a 20 horse, 17 manual, and 5 ring. Another said it took her 8 tries at 38 coins a piece JUST to get from 19 to 20 on a horse. I can't imagine how long that's going to take for anyone that is trying to get these without spending.

Re: Thanks Haypi...

It's a free app, what do you expect. People will rant and they will sit back and count the $$$ come in. Catering to those who don't spend money is not a way to run any business. They will continue merge servers as people quit.

If you've played any other game that does something like this in the years past, you would know this is an endless cycle. When you have a large player count you force them to pay money to be successful. When the number of players start to dwindle they change the game so that you don't have to spend so much money to be successful. Once player count is high enough once again, they bring back the need to spend money to be successful. It's just smart business.
