Tactics-Techs

______Most Important______

  Shoot - March - Scout - Crop

    There are 2 types of techs 

           Expensive
     Wood-Stone-Smelt-Crop
       Shoot-Turrets-Traps

              Cheap
  March-Scout-Attack-Defense

Shoot : gives your cats more range plus increases your field length so you have more shots on the approaching enemy
     

March : Increases your speed
 The Player with the 
      Highest Speed Strike First
   When Both Troops are in Range

Scout : The person with the higher scout tech gets a detailed report.  Giving up your resource levels your speed and other valuable info you want hidden

Crop : Allows you to feed a larger army more easily. Very important

Turrets : Best wall defense but are uselss against cats with 10 shoot until you reach a lvl 9 turret tech. This is the best wall defense but cost alot of resources to build. It's also nice prestige building them up

i slightly disagree with ur first point (it think most important is march-turret-shoot-crop-scout) but thats just my opinion. nice guide! :D

I think this guide is ok.

MY STRATEGY IS INCREASE YOUR CROP/FARM LEVELS! THIS GIVES YOU FASTER FOOD SO YOUR TROOPS DON"T DIE! I MADE A MISTAKE AND DIDN"T DO THIS SO I LOST 116 Infantry, 29 Cavarly, 57 Archers and 83 Siege Engines

Haypi was my number #1 app, and i was rarely on wc, so i have no clue how i just all of a sudden got banned. I didnt have any warning either, so i am trying to figure out what to do about it.

please dont shout at me?!?! lol jk

everyone has their own opinions on the importance of techs. among the most recommended are speed, shooting, and spy. i personally see shoot, spy and march my top three in that order.

Shooting is a must or you'll get smoked every time. Crop too, without it you'll only make 5k crops per city per hr (versus 10k with lvl10). Scouting I'd only max early if I was being farmed. Marching is essential once you get max speed, attack and defense help during all battles and turrets are a nice help when fighting on your own turf (and for protecting late-night troop builds).

I completely agree with this guide and technocrat is right.....without shooting you will likely get smoked

i think techs come in two types
IMPORTANT
-shooting, marching, crops, scout and turrets
LESS IMPORTANT
-attack, defense, wood smelt, stone and traps

i thinnk its more important that we see them like this as different tactics call on different techs to be upgraded first but essential i recommend getting the important ones to lvl 10 first and then do the rest when you have completed the more important ones
how do you let people know if your hot cakes are selling well?

At least for being on a new server, traps prove exceedingly more effective. I can destroy turrets 100% of the time with my catapults with 0 losses, but I have to waste some infantry to get rid of the traps. I do not know how it may have changed for older servers, but that's just the way it is for mine.

The reason why turrets are valuable lies not in their usefulness in battle, but in defense while you arent commanding.
With a single inf, cav, archer and cat unit in a city with lv10 turrets, you can repel and gain prestige up to and possibly over 20k cav attacking while you're offline. This is very useful against those that wish to break your cranny and expose your troops.

Another good reason is that you can build overnight and not have to wirry about someone coming to kill your 599 cav and 249 cats that came out of production whilst you slept. The losses incurred by the turrets will negate any prestige gain by the enemy and in most cases, upon seeing the turrets at lv10, a general will pause for 20 rounds or withdraw.

This is not to say that turrets cannot be overcome. There are many effective strategies to get by lv10 turrets, even without incurring any losses to your troops.

But a wise general would do well not to rely on his turrets, but his troops. Turrets are simply support and are very effective in that role, and IMO, necessary for peace of mind.
