~~ Haypi Adventure Prologue ~~ By Arythy
Among churning waves bashing at the hull and violent winds whipping from all directions was a god, a deity of the waters.
This god traversed the earth on its high, bringing death upon the life of sailors across the world. Legend tells of treasures, vast and valuable, undiscovered in the sea's depths as the only remains of the ships upon which the god had brought ruin.
However the time came of the other gods' anger, and they struck him down as pitilessly as he did his own victims. The god's body, upon destruction, exploded into 8 pieces, which solidified into shining jewels inlaid with gold and scattered over the entire sea to sink to the darkest depths imaginable.
Now sailors come, enourmous numbers of them, to attempt to find the 8 scattered Lost Relics of the Ocean. But the sea god's powers have been said to remain within the relics; cursed by the goal of the hunt, many sailors disappeared at sea.
One brave, courageous soul must stand up and bring about an end to the sea god's reign, and summon together all of the relics to at last end his tyrannical rule!
