Haypi Prologue Competition

I see that it past competitions the winner can also opt for an iPad. Does that apply to this competition?

The Prologue Competition is from Jan 1st, 2011 to February 10th, 2011, and each player needs to start a new post in Haypi Event section on our forum, and there is an example on forum as well.

What sort of time period does this game take place in? The Elizabethan period? The machine age? There are merchant ships and seaports, but there are also submarines and sonar.

It's a sunny day in the middle of the ocean and you are a dealer on a huge supply ship. Everything is perfectly calm, but suddenly CRASH! The water becomes rappid and the sky is filled with lightning and black clouds! The ship loses control and your supplies starts falling and off the sides of the ship. The last thing you see is a cliff or a huge rock and then everything goes black... When you wake up you can barely remember anything, and you realize you are in a small boat with no engines, and all your supplies is gone... All you have left is some coins, and the wood from the boat your in, but you can see the shore a little ways away so you think maybe you can find a town and trade what little you have for something else.

Ahoy seafarers, welcome to Haypi Adventure, the pinnicle of excitement and danger. Starting as a low level explorer you will choose 1 of 10 ports and be provided with a level 1 cargo ship and a level 1 submarine. Trade with the other players on your server with the cargo ship to get items to expand in wealth or power. When using the submarine you will challenge the depths of the harbot in search of eight sets of priceless relics. When all relics are collected you will find a great portal to another world! But stay cautioned- there are rumors of a beast of enormous strength lurking in the deep waters. Good luck! 
