Long ago,in a time when the new world had just been discovered,many people set out to find the riches in the seas of the new world that explorers whom failed,had sunk with.Eight of these expeditions were more acclaimed than any others,and were known as the keys to eternal power.
The 8 expeditions were said to be lead by the 8 richest aristocrats in the world.They all sailed from different foreign countries to claim the new world under their country.No one truly knew what happend to the 8,but rumors spread that they were stopped because the gods wished to have their treasures.
To this day,many explorerss still hunt for the 8 treasures which can grant them eternal power.As they travel,they trade and meet others from different foreign lands.Some explorers like yourselves,will begin from different countries,hoping to go from rags to riches as the captain whom discovered the 8 grand relics,while many others will rule the sea not with luck,but by trading with others in the seas.
