Haypi Adventure Prologue #2- Schelanpup
This prologue takes place in a post-apocalyptic, more modern setting.
World War III... The ending of modern civilization. The only sane people left were hiding in a town off the coast of an ocean. The only thing they had left was a small ship, and a submarine, but they were both cheaply made.
But these small, beat-up materials were their only hope. They could be repaired to become better, and could help them find the 8 hidden artifacts. These artifacts could help unlock the secret to heal the world and it's people.
The artifacts could show them the future, which could hopefully be brighter. But sadly, these 8 artifacts were located in hidden caverns at the seafloor.
Although one civilian had mentioned where one might be. And once one was found, it would give a clue o where to find the others. The ship and submarine both needed to be upgraded to make it farther out to sea and to dive deeper, so they needed resources.
But what could help them was located outside of the town, where insane, war-scarred, and paranoid people were found everywhere which gave a constant threat while searching for materials.
But the 'Crazies' outside were becoming more aggressive and were randomly attacking civilians in the town including the women and children. Some of the men, however, had trained themselves to know how to use guns which they salvaged from the battlefields. This meant they had SOME defense, but limited ammunition. They were lucky to find some while out on hunts.
The increasing aggressiveness of the 'Crazies' increased the urgency of the situation. The 8 artifacts needed to be found, and fast.
