PvP Server Discussion

People buying coins is how the devs are payed and I believe they need people to buy coins on pvp to pay for the prizes.

Im sure people are buying coins on the original servers. That is different because it is a long term game, there is no winnr, everyone can reach levels eventually. I buy coins on the other server (i have to admit, not many though) i dont mind this because i think the game is worth every penny i spend, and the developers deserve to get paid

The pvp competition though is a short term game, there are winners. So why should someone have an advantage? I love the concept of this competition and signed up straight away, but was very disheartened to discover that coins can be bought - i thought whats the point? those with more money will probably win, and those who are currently top of the ranking will probably buy coins to stay there.

Whats the point in winning these prizes if you have to pay more for the coins? I might as well just go out and by an ipad or ipod.

You really believe that everyone will evenly spend just a few coins each?

You dont think that there will be a few people who will buy tonnes of coins, giving themselves a massive advantage?

Plus, i presume there are "many people buying just a few coins" in the normal severs that will pay for prizes.

and personally, if it meant there would be a fair competition, i'd rather there'd be no pysical prizes but rewards in the game instead (which wouldnt cost the devs a penny)

Coins are not fair, in regular server or in pvp

But the devs made the game, and the pvp server, for money. They will not change it.

Any game like this from Evony to the little games you see on ads have things that cost money that give players an advantage. It's how things are and how they always will be.

Actually some just have cost to play, or be a "premium member" ect

Premium membership is still an advantage you pay for :)
