Languages Other Than English

On s37 at the moment there is a huge debate on whether or not languages other than english is against the rules or not, could support or a moderator please confirm or deny this rule for once and for all? and if it is a rule please add it to the In Game Rules?
btw im not looking to continue the debate on whether or not languages other than english are allowed, we as players just need a clarification and this will make experts jobs easier as well so they wont have to argue with players if it is a rule or not

I found a moderators forum post that covers this, and have been told the answer from others a long time ago.

English is the preferred language on Haypi Chat. Other languages are permitted, if it is a legitimate conversation between multiple players. If they choose to chat in a foreign language, the conversation must still continue to follow Haypi chat rules. Same warnings and punishments can be assigned.

I know I'm not a mod so you can wait for one to confirm.

thanks dev, i dont mean to belittle your expert status by asking for a moderator or support answer, just that this is also part of the problem. We hear different rules from different experts which can be confusing and just fuels debate when an expert mutes for languages other than english, it''d be great if this issue could be more put to rest.. even just ensuring all experts adhere to the same rule would help this a lot

Long time ago i muted a player speaking russian coz i hought other languages are forbidden. But then I got warned by support3 (Icey), she told me other languages are allowed if its (as dev said) a legal conversation.

well it doesnt seem experts are able to follow any form of uniform rule on this, s37 experts are still muting for languages other than english. Good to see that somebody out there was willing to give a definitive answer on this issue

good luck with haypi being released in 9 new languages then muting all the people who speak those languages.. seems counter productive to me..
