Cav guide?

I noticed a lot of people have cavalry armies, how come no ones made a guide to taking oasises/forts with cavs?

Re: Cav guide?

here is the gist of it, if you use max speed then put all points into attack, use 1 cav per every 2 infantry stationed in the oasis/fort (eg. 2.2k cav for level 9 oasis, minimum 1k cav for level 1 fort).

when you use max speed then high attack, use 7 cavs per 10 infs stationed in the oasis/fort (eg. 3.1k cav for level 9 oasis and 1.4k cav for level 1 fort).

Re: Cav guide?

i believe sledjer was looking for a guide on the amount of cavs required for forts and oases, not a guide that loosely covers how to command a cav army
and yes what backburner said is probably the best answer you can get, it depends laregly on your attack stat and how many inf in the fort/oasis
you need to be able to kill the inf in one hit when you reach them otherwise your losses will be rather substansial
use backburners numbers as a rough guide, adjusting for your stats, the rest is trial and error.. if your going for a cav army you should have max heal anyway so if you slightly under estimate the number required to kill the inf its not the end of the world
