New Chat

This is a simple idea that has been floating around S11 for a while.

An ad chat, for people to post ads in. It would unclog wc and therefore making it easier to chat.

This has been suggested before, it would definitely be great to get rid of the ads in the wc but I highly doubt people will ever use it. If you want to put up an ad I don't think you'd put in the ad channel where very few people will ever look in, you'd still get people spamming wc with various ads.

There could be a "characters limit" or "picture limit" to prevent the ads from going into the wc. People who aren't postin alliance ads don't usually go over 50 or so letters. The game techies could try to set up a sort of auto filter that detects ads and just redirects them to the "ad chatroom." :p -Pat

Hmmm I'm not sure limiting chat will solve the problem, people will simply shorten ads to adapt in wc, it would also cause extra grief to the non-VIP who tend to use longer messages and adds extra load to the server as every message posted in world chat would then need to go through a calculator and filter, the chat lag would be worse than ever.

wont solve the problem at all ads will always be in wc even if you had a special chat for them...
