Not true. They actually are the best combo in the game.

Infants are useless for battles, aside from using them to take out traps. I never really understand why people insist on building so many infantries when all of that power can be translated into cavalry.

Take this as experience from a person himself who has had this kinda of army built before.

Wow! That's quite an army!

I'm almost inclined to wonder if it's a glitched army as I have seen them before, but as you posted it here, I suppose you could have been playing by the book....

But please tell me how you managed to keep it fed? At around 800k crops/hour, that army would starve if you left it unattended for more than 35 minutes....

[Sylarius]

-6 cities
- Lvl 20 enhanced crops in each of them
- 9 total level 9 crop oasis shared among the cities (often times not evenly just to make it easier to manage)
- Lvl 10 crop tech

With all of those variables put into to place, spreading the troops among all 6 cities, left me with a negative 89-90k crop input(Which required me to feed them every 4 hours realistically).

lol of course I no longer have that army. It was an experiment I tried during the summer when I had free time. I built troops till the point I felt like I could no longer keep up with the constant feeding. The money for the crops alone was a real killer. >.>

You try buying just about 2.7 million crops ever 4 hours.

This size army isn't sutainable, and if you were offline and targeeted for take down your 449k cranny reserves could be dwindled down to 50K by a high lvl with cranny crack lvl 10 stealing resources. This means your army would starve and die within an hour. Anyone have numbers on a sustainable army size with max crop production?

thats where you are wrong mighty sylarius. archers and cav>cat+cav

first of all, why people use lots of infantry? its not just for the purpose of killing traps, it can be a use as a meatshield rather than suiciding ur cats..

I usually use 10k inf just to shield my cats in case im the one attacking a high lvl person with max speed and techs. It Did lost my infantry, but my cats were alive and well... since infantry only gives small prestige, its the perfect army to use as suicide bombers..

my point... infantry is stil vital in battle... its like captain america and hes shield...
