Army Guide

**HAYPI ARMY GUIDE**

Hello all you forum peoples.

I know there are some new people out there, so this is a pointer as to how to build a perfect army.

INFANTRY: Infantry are really good for hunting and clearing traps. Also very good for bringing resources home after a good day of fort hitting.

To take all of the resources out of a Level 1 fort with infantry, you would need 2500 infantry. (NOTE! Do NOT think you will get the fort with this. Catapults are needed.) They also have the lowest crop consumption, which is a bonus.

CAVALRY: Like Infantry, but Better at everything. The geeks of the army. Even better at taking resources from a fort. Even better at hunts. The only downsides are that they have a higher crop consumption and are more expensive to build.

To take all the resources out of a Level 1 fort, you will need 2000 Cavalry.

ARCHERS: My personal fave. They are like a faster but less defensive version of catapults (See below). They have a better range than Infantry and Cavalry by a clear mile, but they have nothing on Catapult range. They are also nice and cheap to build. Crop consumption is 2 per troop. Low. Verreh naice.

To take all the resources out of a Level 1 fort, you will need 5000 archers.

CATAPULTS: The RPGs of Haypi Kingdom. Best attack. Best life. Best Range. They are the best troop for taking out Turrets. (NOT TRAPS! You will suffer very harsh losses!!)Unfortunately, Cats are EXTREMELY slow, making it hard to hit forts in your lunch break. They are also very expensive to build. Best troop for beginners.

To take all of the resources out of a Level 1 Fort, you will need 5000 catapults. But with 5000, you could occupy a Level 6.

Re: Army Guide

A nice effort, but your info is askew....

There are far too many variables in the game for someone to rely on this information and expect to be successful in combat.

Try reading my 'understanding battle' guide in the guides section of forums.

Edit: Heres the link: viewtopic.php?f=59&t=6539

Try reading my 'understanding battle' guide in the guides section of forums. It's much more complete.... I'll edit when I'm home from work to include a link here

Hey man

Thanks for replying. As I said, please report any dodgy info.

Re: Army Guide

As there are too many variables in the game for this to be accurate, so too are there too many variables for me to list in this post!

Please use the link I have conveniently editted into my last post and you will find an in depth explanation of the rules of battle and how damage is calculated.

This should be sufficient in enlightening you as to what your 'army guide' is lacking.

Its a wonderful start, however, and when you complete your research, it will be a great addition to the Haypi Guides!

P.S.
Im also gonna place a link here for another guide I think you may find useful as it contains intel necessary to portray accurate battle results...viewtopic.php?f=59&t=6431

Tossed to Haypi Guides sub-forum.

A forum post should be like a skirt. Long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting.
