New update?

It sounds like this was a server side issue, not a client side one. I don't think they need apple's approval to release a new server version.

it's an update for the app its self not the servers so they would need apples permission to release an update for the app

It may take a while for apple to approve any updates...

We don't know if it's client or server... so we wait...

you should all remember the chat crash on ios4 they told us it would be fixed soon, it took 2 weeks. they DO NOT control apple. i guarantee they sent it in before they told us knowing that people would complain about it. not saying that you are complaining BUT MOST do. so they tried to let us know an update was coming. be happy with what we got

if you read the context clearly they did this while they were working on the server as they knew this would happen. and i asked support the problem bc i had a few people send me E-Mails about it when i had no access to ipod and they told me

It sounds like they updated the server and now the client needs to be updated to fix some sort of disparity between the client and the server that is causing this level 1 thing.
