Should the new chat rule get removed?

Pls tell all of your friends in your servers and even your non-friends to vote in this poll. I wanna see if the public agrees with the rule.

by ad rule do you mean the 5 minutes in between? if so, i think that it should stay, as i have seen quite a few long ads in wc, and as an expert, it makes monitoring the chat easier. as for the general public, i dont see why they would have a problem with it, unless they are bent on getting muted or just plain dont care for rules or authority. my vote says go

no not the 5 min... tht ads have to be shorter than 8 lines

Personally, dice I don't advertise, I like the new rule because now i don't have to scroll up repeatedly because of a stupid 20 line ad lol

Some of those ads are just too (like, whole screen-plus) long. I'm glad Haypi made that rule.

The new rule should absolutely stay in place. It keeps down the 15 line alliance ads

I like how support worded the rule to be at the discretion of the experts.
Personally, I don't make alliance ads....I'd rather you don't join my alliance as that means more food for me.
I do however occasionally post emoji art as alerts for when my generals score a big prestige hit. This artwork is not an ad, not spanned and is very pleasant on the eyes. I think it is a nice addition to the wc room simply because it adds personality to the server and my generals. I always get requests to send my art via pm so people may use it and I am humbled by the positive responses I get, even from the experts.
I always keep the art limited to the size of the screen or smaller and I don't feel this is obtrusive or obstructive in any way.
Personally, I think 8 lines is a bit small. If I was to create an alliance ad, I would want it to stand out and be flashy and while I know there are many who don't like alliance ads (myself included) they must work or people wouldn't do it so much. 8 lines seems a little small for something that is designed to catch the eye and promote an alliance while providing enough information to make the Alliance sound interesting.
I think that support has the right idea about trying to limit this, but I think it should be a little larger limit than 8 lines.
I do however like the stipulation that it is at the experts discretion and on my server, we have experts capable of making fair and sound decisions.
Now foe some reason I can't enter my vote into the poll here, so I'll say it instead: I think you're halfway there support....give people a little more leeway with their ads, but stress that it's the experts decision.

i have seen many annoyingly long ads, i think it should stay! BUT the experts need to keep consistent because a expert on s27 is making it 6 lines not 8... need consistency.

I just block anyone that sends the crazy things. Don't wantm don't needm.
