Clearer World Chat rules

Well we have 1 expert currently on our server, (21) and he is constantly getting all the flack for not clamping down on people. He tells us that he is only following the guidelines given to him....if that is the case, can we please to to....

1) Clamp down on all spam.....advertising alliances over and over is one thing, but we have a couple of very annoying people that have managed to get Mario pictures and keep posting these over and over. These images take up an entire screen on the iphone, which means most of the actual chat just gets missed. As this is not game related in anyway, why not stop this?

2) Speaking in non english language....ok I know this is going to be an issue of contention, but as we know most of the community do/can speak english why not politely ask any other languages to speak in private chat?.....as an example on world chat we had 2 people speaking french, no one could really understand them, so it just looked like the were flooding the page. At some point you have to draw a line and have some sort of common ground....otherwise what stops us having hundreds of people all talking in different native languages?

I understand this will probably cause outrage....but it has driven a lot of people away from world chat...which is a shame, and has ultimately led to a pretty inactive server all in all.

3) Can we have a number of experts, not just 1? on our server our expert does a great job, but obviously he cannot be on 24/7....so for the times he's not on, it's like the 'children' get a free pass to run a mock.

thats utterly disgusting of you to say. they have every right in the world to speak in french in world chat unless someone is respectful enough to ask them to go to private.

When i say respectful i dont mean please go to private chat to keep chat clean. being respectful would be going the extra step to translate it into french so that they can understand you.

2. That's like you playing an app and some guy telling you in German that you can't speak english. How would you like it.

3. I'm sure more experts will be coming in the future.

lol you people are quite funny,

It's not utterly disgusting at all, infact most online games operate this policy already, I hardly reinvented the wheel with my suggestion.

With this game being on much smaller display screens then pc games, the chat pages can scroll very quick...if you get to the point where most people ignore chat because of it's failings, then what's the point?

If you don't believe how bad server 21 is, then ask someone with the power to pop their heads in sometime

Grr I agree having that language rule would be absolutely disgusting I would hate to be told that I couldn't speak my main language. I say we let people speak there own language whenever they want just put yourself in there position, everyone on chat is talking in an unfamiliar or hard to understand language then you finally find someone that speaks your language. Would you want to be told off and even muted for that? I would think not. IMO there shouldn't be a language rule at all
