Prestige
 Prestige is the basic points given to you for upgrading buildings, training troops, Hunting, and Winning Battles

How Can I Gain Prestige
 Prestige is gained by upgrading your buildings, training troops, hunting, and winning battles[/color]
Why am I Gaining so Little Prestige
 At low levels you will gain prestige very slowly. Some upgrades will only give you 1 or 2 prestige, but once you continue to upgrade you will gain more prestige per level
How should I upgrade my resources
 You should upgrade your stone, wood and iron evenly at the beginning of the game. Crop can wait to be upgraded to further extents once you begin to build a firm foundation of an army.
Should I upgrade all four resource spots
 You should upgrade all four spots evenly, as if you upgrade mainly one you will not have a big enough resource output to keep up with the high level upgrades
What does the Main Building do
 The main building is for the sole purpose of giving you a set output number of workers per hour. The higher the upgrade the more the workers you get per hour. Not to mention that it gives the most prestige out of all buildings in your city.
What does the Warehouse do
 The warehouse is a place to hold your resources. The upgrading of the warehouse allows it to hold more resources. Do not get confused about the holding of the warehouse; it holds the set number of EACH resource.
What does the Barracks do
 The barracks holds troops and builds troops. You can build which of the four troop types you wish to train. Upgrading the level of the barracks decreases the time needed for training troops, NOT resources needed.
What does the Cranny do
 The cranny “hides” resources from opposing troops. DO NOT get confused the cranny holds the amount of EACH resource, NOT combined. The cranny can be raided by upgrading the Break Cranny skill.
What does the Technology Center do
 The technology center is the place to upgrade your technology skills. Upgrading your technology skills increases their output or skill level. Each Technology skill has 10 levels.
What does the Market Place do
 The market place is a place for you to trade treasures or Resources. When you open the market on each tab you will see the lowest unit price NOT total amount of money needed.
What do the Mines/Mills/Cropland do
 They are the place for you to upgrade your output of these resources per hour. You can also enhance your resource outputs (with coins) in the resource buildings.
What does my General Tab do
 It shows you your character username and prestige. Below that are your attribute points which can be placed in Attack, Defense, Speed or Fortune. Below that is your Skills; Open Chest, Hidden Attack, Heal, Break Cranny and Convert skill
What are my Attribute Points
 Your attribute points are Attack, Defense, Speed and Fortune. Attack increases the attack points of your soldiers. Defense increases the Defense points of your soldiers. Speed increases the army movement to locations and how far they move on the battlefield. Fortune increases your luck with Hunts, Daily Gift (this is questionable and hasn’t been proven yet by support that it doesn’t), and multiple hit strikes during Battles
How do I Join an Alliance
 You may join an alliance via the Alliance Tab (<3 Shaped Tab). Here you will see 3 options; Alliance List, Create Alliance, Search for Alliance. Using the alliance list tab you can see every alliance in no particular order and find one that suits your needs. Create Alliance allows you to make an alliance of your own (requires 2000 gold). Search for alliance is if you plan to join a specific alliance. THERE IS NOT a system for people to invite you to their alliance.
How do I Complete my Tasks
 If you have not already, find your tasks via the Task tab (the key). Here you will see tasks such as upgrade Lumber Mill, Upgrade Stone Mine, etc. Read all the information in the info part of the tasks. Then do what the task asks you, once you have done that make sure you press Get Rewards. Eventually you will come to a point where your only tasks are Task 23: Refer 1 and Upgrade General Title. This is normal and there will be no more tasks after this other than more upgrade general title task (Create Account task may be there for when you reach level 10)
How much prestige do I need for the beginning levels
 Level 1 (3rd civilian) requires 1 prestige
 Level 2 (2nd civilian) requires 200 prestige
 Level 3 (1st civilian) requires 630 prestige
 Level 4 (3rd baron) requires 1150 prestige and a Nugget
How do I Hunt
 You can hunt by going to the map tab and finding an oasis. Once you find an oasis there will be a few commands for you to choose, select the hunt choice and then slide the bar all the way over for each group of troops. Then press the ok button

i only upgrade crop resources...i dont bother with the others as i can get whatever i need and more from forts.
this is a superior strategy, but one that requires a good alliance to work correctly. as a beginning player, your alliance mates should be taking lv9 oases and giving them to you. these oases will provide far more than your city resources ever will at this point in the game, and that said, its easy to see why spending resources to upgrade anything other than crops is a waste and not very efficient.
by my reckoning, and this is tried and true, you never need to upgrade those other resources for anything other than the prestige you gain from it. you shouldnt bother until you are a stable, self sustaining warlord. level 4(when you can start attacking your teammates oases) is easily attainable without ever upgrading those resource fields
i understand that this isnt such an indepth explanation, but i will soon be posting the strategy guide to end all strategy guides and all will become clear.

this is an add on to the help tab via in game with basics. this is for people who are not out of beginners protection. and without buying coins which you do its a must to build up resource outputs. not to mention it still gives prestige. you can say its not necessary but nobody has the money to keep resources up to level up in a new server at 2.xx+ market prices

It would be helpful for beginners to know that the main building decreases other building upgrade times, including techs. The maximum decrease in build time is 50%.

Beginners get 100 prestige for just joining an alliance. It is NOT recommended to make an alliance early on bc of all the help the player can get by joining one.

There is a 10% loss in all transactions with the market. It's like .... taxes. That you pay to .... lol
