PvP winners sorted by rank first?

I missed the PvP entry but hope to get in the next one. Was wondering if someone could tell me if the final leaderboard and prizes are based strictly on prestige or if rank cone first. Conceiveably someone could lead in prestige but trail in rank if unable to gather the necessary treasure/etc. How would that be judged? Thanx in advance.

Im pretty positve that it is prestige rank. I also heard a lot of people say it is prestige to so im pretty sure it is.
