ive got up to 6k lvl 3 ring 2 chest there was something else but i forgot sorry

my best hunt so far are gems and 15k money. this could be a rumour, but if u hunt in stone oasis, u get gem more often, u hunt in iron oasis, u get sword, armour more often. wood might yield manual and ring and crop might yield horse.
to calculate how much to convert money to treasure, take the coin price of the treasure and divide by 2. ie, gem, 24 coins, 48000/2=12000. ur hunt need to fetch around this amount to have a higher chance to get gems. medal, 40 coins, 80000/2= 40000 and such.
fortune stats increase the chance of converting money to treasure. the higher fortune u have, the higher chance u get.
hunt result peak at 12hr. anything more than that don't give better yield.
cavs and inf give the best hunt result. best send them hunting separately from ranged units. speed is a factor that affect hunt results as well.
that is so far what i know are the variables that affect hunt result.

Other variables: total carrying capacity added together, since after hr 8 the chances of getting a good hunt skyrocket, you MUST be able to hold it or for some reason your hunt is diminished and also, the longer you hunt in an oasis, the higher the chance of someone hunting in that exact oasis. It also comes into play the last time the oasis was hunted in, so somone even just temporarily placing troops in that oasis can harm the results. Yes i've also seen hunts where you just recalled from an oasis and then put them back in the same oasis to later find a hunt just as good as the previous.

I have heard what you posted before as well Obelisk. Highest monetary hunt i've seen is around 24-25k. I've heard that beyond that, the hunts are automatically converted to treasure. I don't know the validity of this statement, but I asked support about this aspect and she didn't know what I was talking about and just gave me basic hunting tips that I already knew. :/ It's ok though. Everyone starts with a base +20 in fortune, meaning that a good hunt can still happen. I only have 20 fortune + lv 10 ring and I get gems, nuggets, and decent level chests pretty often.

So recap of my statements and Obelisks on how to improve hunts
-The higher total speed of all units combined, the better the hunt. Cav and Inf have the two highest speeds.
-The higher the total carrying capacity of all troops combined, the more you can hold. Cav and Inf have the highest carrying capacities.
-The more troops you send, obviously, the more speed and carrying capacity you'll have... Infantry are the cheapest unit to hold, crop wise.
-The higher your fortune total is, the higher the chances of your hunt converting to an item.
-Generally the longer your hunt is, the better your result. 8+ hour hunts bring the chance for an extraordinary harvest (verified by support)
...if you can hold it/have enough speed total to get it.
-For some reason if you can't hold the harvest, the troops come back with less. They also come back with less to nil the sooner the last time a player has hunted in the oasis you are hunting in.

Theories
-stone oasis=better chances for gem
-iron oasis=better chance for sword and armor
-wood oasis=better chance for manual and ring
-crop oasis=better chance for horse
-I've heard that somehow archers will add higher chances for better items

I've never had any of the theories proven. I hunt in stone oasis's quite a lot more than any other oasis naturally. I generally get a lot of money, gems, and chests. Occasionally I get random equipment. I generally hunt in lower level oasis's.

I've had lots of 30k+ hunts so it doesn't automatically change to treasure

hmm. I've never seen one and i've seen hunts of people recalling really large armies. Although, I have no idea of their fortune stats.

Ive recently hunted two nuggets from two hunts in one day and a gemstone earlier today!! man does that feel good now i just need to move up to a medal and then the elusive scepter!

50k infs. 10 gems 3 medals 1 lvl 10 rings lvl6 chests lvl 5 chests 10-27k golds. Of course some zeros. Lol. No longer nuggets thou.

All these in a month.

I've gotten 2 medals in 1 day with 70k inf with about 60 fortune. 10 hr hunts each

you guys are lucky man ive hunted 2 nuggets in one day also a gem a few days later, imve been trying to get a medal ive seen people get gems with just 1k cats or a nugget with just 600 infantry.
