Hey all!
I'm bumping this old thread because my question is a bit similar.
Why didn't my level 10 turrets take out any cats?I have level 10 shooting, marching and turrets.
I built troops in a city and forgot about them. Of course I soon got attacked and that's all fair and good. I would have done the same. But the turret behavior really bugs me...
Battle went like this :
- Turn 1-4. He waited and killed my advancing troops (I was offline)
- Turn 5. He advances his catapults, they move 99.
- Turn 6. He advances his catapults, they move 99 and kill the first line of turrets. Turrets didn't kill anything.
- Turn 7. He advances his catapults, they move 99 and kill the second line of turrets. Turrets didn't kill anything.
- Turn 8. He advances his catapults, they move 99 and kill the last line of turrets. Turrets didn't kill anything.
- Rest of the turns he backs up with the cats and forwards inf to clear the odd traps which I had there.
- Then the resources were carted away while the widows and orphans cried.
Final result:
He lost only 160+ infs to the traps and 4 and 2 archers and cats to my small troops when they were auto-advancing.
Speed:
- My cats moved 127 per turn, his 99 per turn.
- The order of movement was: my cavs, his cavs, my archers, his infs, my cats, his cats. I had no infs, he had no archers.
- Conclusion is that my speed was higher than his.
So how on earth did he avoid getting hit by the oh-so-awesome level 10 turrets?! Secret Ninja catapults?
