spd/att or spd/fort???

So guys. I have been playing now for awhile. My stats are attack/speed based for my inf/cat army. my question is, is speed/fortune bettore combo for cats? I am more incline to this now because I will recieve better hunts and possibly treasure. But I need to know whether the double strike power attack whatever cat special thingamajig does as much, more, or less than the exact same number of attack points??? Thanks, your time answering this in as much DETAIL is GREATLY appreciated. :D

Its a double attack.... Pretty sure it doubles the power. Id stay attk/speed because fortune is so unreliable... Your attk is lower and you go basing your choices on double power attks... Which mite not happen (of course you could get 7 of em lol)

I say dump attack and go with speed defense strategy. You will spend alot less resource and time rebuilding armies and marching. Build a 2:1 cav cat ratio and max out hidden attack. you will be racking in prestige like a drunk man racking up his bar tab!

So max out speed, then max defense. cav already get attack bonus's against certain units so you don't need to worry about not having high enough attack.
Fortune is nice for the doubles and triples but there so unreliable in wars, depending on them will sooner or later get your entire army wiped.
Attack is for a cat based tactic but again you will spend alot more time rebuilding and marching ect..

Ok, but why cavs over inf? I'll be just as slow and with 4x as many inf as cavs i can carry more resources.

I would rather do inf then cav's just because it's more crops for less people and all you're using them for are meat shield.

Re: spd/att or spd/fort???

Let's put this simply:
cav= good speed, takes two cats two kill one cav, and carries 100 units resource. Gets slowed down when attacking with cats.

Inf= can carry 80 resource, standard speed, and has strength in numbers, but requires strong attack to do substancial damage, dies easily, and loses prestige fast.

Cats= strong defense, long range, kills inf extremely fast, and if you have substantialy more cats then it will kill cats fast too, but takes twice as many cats as cavs to win, also takes 300 resource.

archers= not even worth my time to tell.

Archers are actually good. Urano's doing study on it but 5k archers can kill 1k cats.

Re: spd/att or spd/fort???

17k archers only killed 1.7k cav of mine .. lvl 19 vs lvl 18 ..

Well so archers are pretty much waste of time and crops if you ask me except maybe fort taking .
