Re: Avoiding by acronyms?

Nobody on s6 gets muted for this kind of language because people do in fact speak up, soooooo... You're wrong there. Players should feel comfortable disagreeing with with experts and voice their objections with curtious, but passionate dialogue. Some are likely to say "what the f" or "WTF did you do that for" so in those cases you're lucky; you can just sit those dissenters in the corner for 5 hours.

You do know that each expert let's you do certain stuff that maybe other experts don't? We all follow the main rules for sure, but each of us has our own way of moderating the chat. It is every expert's wish to mute to a minimum. The people disagree, only because they can't talk anymore. They know they did something wrong, but they believe they didn't do anything wrong. We each give every players 3-5 warnings. They KNOW to stop, but they keep doing whatever bad thing they're doing. Case closed.

Uranos, reread my previous post regarding the shock value of the F-word because you're not really getting it bud. I'm quickly realizing we have some pretty intelligent/reasonable experts on our sever and that may not always be the case. Come to server 6 friends!

I don't know why i never noticed before, but are you kidding me? Your name is Uranos and your signature includes, "I'd sleep with Uranos."? And you're muting for acronyms because they're offensive? Get real. Stop abusing your power.

... and thus isn't responsible for it. I see. I guess by that logic it is appropriate and unoffensive. My bad. I guess thats why you were chosen as one of those to judge these kinds of things...

Ok so my opinion is on this whole thing is that it should be allowed in some forms, but not others.

Common sense.

Like, being to a friend, Stfu  or Wtf! :P
But I do absolutely understand where the point is coming from that these automatically assume to be bad words and shouldn't be allowed.

It's not that hard to express yourself in other ways in chat. I don't see why so many people have a problem with it. Other rules also.

In my server everyone complains about how they're being put down, and how wc isn't any fun anymore because it's so censored and it's like.. Can't you have fun while being appropriate? Maybe I'm just being dillusional.

There's always AC for those that just can't handle themselves. I was told AC does not follow any rules other than those deemed by the leaders/vices. So.. like.. spam away.

I don't always agree with what some experts say but... it's their call. Not mine.
