I need help with barracks.

Hi, so I need some help with upgrading. I want to know what happens when you upgrade your barracks. It doesn't seem like it's doing anything and I'm worried that it's just a waste of reasources(exept for getting prestige). Please tell me what it does.

Everytime u upgrade it the time to train troops will go down

Indeed... This is most useful when building large amounts of troops at once. You'll notice a huge difference in time of completion.

You should notice the very quick change from original training time to adjusted (factoring barracks level in) as you confirm the training.
I always look at that just to revel in how much time I saved :p

You get a 4% reduction in the time it takes you to train troops per level of barracks for a maximum of 80% reduction in time. EXTREMELY worth it. My catapults take less than 5 hours to train the maximum amount of cats with max resources!!

Also noteworthy, is that no only does the main building produce people per hour, up to 639 per hour, but it also reduces the time it takes to build other buildings. I've seen how much per level, but I can't figure out the amount. I might try. The maximum amount of time that it reduces the speed of building other buildings is 50% though.
