Any one know how to build traps like that? :shock:

It's like that due to the shorten field length. If you only bring infantrys, they'll always look like that(Due to infants having a lack of range). Just think of it as zooming in closer on the battlefield.

i dont know but sometime i see traps looked like that and my traps are like this sometimes as well. i want to know it as well. :D

Yeah, syl, just did some tests, the battle field length is only 350, and traps looks exactly like that.

The length of a field is generated with the range of the troop with the highest range on the field (inclusive tech) + 300

I recently got an account on s12, which i didn't know about until yesterday...
I'll try to find out the point at which the field changes since I won't be using any coins. If anyone has already tested, i'd LOVE to know. I do know that the field is automatically smaller if there aren't any archers, cats, or turrets. Of course it has to do with the field length as stated earlier, but knowing at which range settings the traps spread, would be awesome. ^^

(i'm going to guess that the change happens at sub 600 range. That's the starting range of lv1 turrets and the base range of archers, who of course have lower range than catapults)
