If your logged into your google account aka gmail, it saves all your web history online on your account. So stay logged out to keep extra protected.

Son, something similar happened to me when I was young and ignorant. I'm most certain that your parent have a program to monitor your computer, a program such as Spy - Software 007. There are many other programs similar to 007, they can record each keystroke that you make, record any conversation, record all the websites that you've visited, periodically take screen shoots of your computer among other things that they can do. What I recommend is to download Malwarebytes, AdAware and SpyBot and see if they detect something, and can successfully delete any unwanted software/spy-ware. Best of luck.
