Traps

Traps - For MOST advanced players, they are relatively worthless. A Max Trap does HALF the damage of a Max Turret.
If Haypi made a few changes to Traps, they could actually be a VERY useful tool in city defense.

First - Increase the Damage Traps Do. If they did more damage, at least CLOSER to Turrets, more people would use them.
Second - Make Traps Invisible on the Attack Screen AND War Reports. Unless a Trap is Activated, attacking troops should NOT be alerted that the traps are in place
Third - Make Traps Immune to Defense. Trap Damage should be done based on Life Only.
Forth - Make Traps Random on the Battlefield. It would be nice if you had traps, they would randomly appear in different places on the battlefield. This would be a HUGE advantage as it would make the attacking troops pause at different intervals.

The first Three changes are Must Haves in order to balance the power between Traps and Turrets. The Third would make traps an integral part of every defense in the game.

I really like ideas 2 and 4, the pnly problem would be that every time you attacked, you would have to move from one side to the other, to spring all the traps right? It would definitely take extra time and would be very boring.

The point of any Base Defense is to assist in the Defense of that City.
Currently, Traps are a minor Speed Bump for most players.
If a player attacks an open city and they have traps, then yes, it could be boring making that player travel completely across the map to clear them. but again, this is about defensive structures, not the attacking party.

traps cant be totaly hidden it would get to confusing and traps do enough damage if you havnt noticed there almot half the resorces so thats why they dont have as much attack
and trap are mostly used for lower lvl pplayers they have a use and if you dont like them dont make

Traps are used for beginner players and if u up your tech guerra are better

The benefits of using traps is their ability to capture the opponents troops and they cannot be destroyed. They can't be equal to turrets in power as then turrets would be useless.

Traps only get 1 attack where as turrets can get off multiple attacks on units with range. That is their advantage.
Traps capture people. That is their advantage.
From a damage standpoint, I agree that they shouldn't be equal damage, but half?
And what about being invisible to the attacking troops?

I think they should be visible, but not show the lvl in the war report. I have sent 1 cav to places in order to check trap lvls and positions and whether turrets or no. It would give the defender a much needed advantage

I would be nice if traps were invisible it would be a good advantage but u need to pay money or something to get it like a upgrade
