Inflation

Hello everybody!
As you might have already recognized, prices of ressources in haypi are getting lower an lower - the inflation in haypi kingdom.
I'm am from server 7 and for example the prove of wood has fallen from 0.40 to 0.05 in about one mounth and I'm sure that the inflation is a big problem on each server.
So I started a topic about the inflation in haypi kingdom.
I would like to collect ideas to solve that problem.
But first of all, I will explain the reason for the inflation and the problem with solving that problem.
Money is getting more and more but ressources are getting less because you can use ressources directly  and they are gone. But Money only changes the owner and getting more through hunting and fortyfied points. The Problem is that its impossible to make the ressources more because everyone will spend them so you Need to get the Money less. The only good possiblity dor that is, that Player can buy somethibg for that from the System/NPCs. But there are only 2 possibles: 1. Players can buy ressources. Problem: Player would only buy them when they are cheaper then in the market. But thats Not good because Players wont Be able to sell ressources any more. 2. Players can buy treasures. Problem: the creators haypi kingdom would sell far less coins and thats really Bad for them.
My idea is a lottery where you can spend money and get money/ressources or even treasures but the average win is lower then the money players have to spend (they should be able to chose how much they want to wagger but the more they wager the better the win will be). So money is getting less and a lottery will be fun to, I guess.

Re: Inflation

"THE MAKETS GONE WACKO, THE MARKET GONE WACKO!" says every1 in wc.

Yes I know I'm in server 7 also. Yes we need to gather ideas and information. Either the people fix it or the admins have to but this is going to be hard to fix.

Re: Inflation

It's basicly impossible to raise the prices because everyone will start to makr more and more and sell more and more, thus making a higher supply and a lower demand. All economy works that way. Higher supply+lower demand=less people buying and lowering prices to compensate.

Re: Inflation

When I started the market was fine. Since I got higher level the market started crashing. That's VERY bad.

Re: Inflation

To be honest, I don't see what the problem is.

Just means you have to work a little bit harder to make a buck. Just like life! Hehe.

I say, leave it be, because we will never find a logical solution IMHO.

People on my server, 8, have been trying to manually make the market crash, and it's just not possible with one person.

Re: Inflation

Its annoying how some people spam the market with "Omg the markets crashing!! Do your part to save it by listing your resources at .10!" lol it fails but one possible option (in my opinion) would be to literally clear the market of all the resources (not items) the resources u have listed would be transported back to you and there would be a new market... Of course haypi would have to do a countdown til when the market resets... Just an idea idk if it would work or not

Re: Inflation

only admin could really increase the prices by raising the price floor(min price). . .otherwise people will always keep lowering the price to make their product sell first
