Seems like his dedication is severely lacking if having the expert title was all he stuck around for.
I have no idea who this person is, but I wouldn't suggest giving someone who quits over a title yet another title.

I'm still here regardless of the fact I can never be eligible to be an expert for the mere fact I enjoy the community and being in it. Just because you can't be expert doesn't give someone a reason to grief about and point fingers. You quit, you quit bottomline. If he quit obviously his expert status was removed and if he quit because he did lose his status just shows he wasn't showing his true colors and was doing it for the glory and not to be a samaritan. People can be "experts" by helping moderate or contacting experts to mute if there is none on. You shouldn't fake your helpfulness just because you want to be an expert and then go back to your old ways when its removed. Remember Popularity and Coolness =/= A Great Expert

Besides, Swift (not bashing just a fact) would not put as much time, effort, or dedication as Vayne does. He proved that when he quit. Regardless why he left, it shows that he doesn't deserve anymore then he had. Besides, it's not like they can force him back.

Why force an expert back when you have candidates available that deserve the opportunity to shine in the place of someone undeserving

Heres my personal opinion like das and joey im from server one and i diddint hear of swift till now all i have gathered is he quit cuz he lost expert which if he quit cuz he lost a title oviously hes was only playing for that title no other reason. Also if he quit y give it back? Sounds like me only mistake vayne made was electing swift expert. Now at one time he could of been a great dedicated expert but now he was not. Also i will make this clear vayne is head expert in how many servers? I think this it to much work for one person and there should be a new head expert for server one. Sorry for this long long long (stalling) long reply but this is my personal opinion.

I'll kind of answer these backwards...

First there are no Head Experts. You're either an Expert or you're not. I don't get any more benefits than the other Experts and it can be removed just as easy. And I have Expert accounts on servers 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 9 and 10. Not so much to be active on them but to be on call sort of whenever I'm needed.

Swift quit for months before while I was still very active on S1 and he never lost Expert. You may have liked him but this was 100% his fault and he won't be getting it back. All Experts were sent a letter with a week to respond to show they were active. He didn't respond so he was removed.

As was said, he obviously doesn't care about the game or the community enough if he quit (again) after losing Expert. He didn't even try to get it back or figure out why it was removed and he didn't stay and keep helping. You don't need an Expert tag to help.

As for you Das, we've had issues out of you in the past and your name alone keeps you from getting Expert. Obviously you think you deserve it as well which tells me you don't.
