How do I Turn Chat OFF

Is there anyway to turn the chat off?, it is really annoying

cant turn it off. . .but in order of importance its private then alliance then world chat so it will display messages from the most important chat containing messages. . .so to avoid constant messages all over your main screen you could simply send someone a private message and you will only see that. . .

I just started, What if I have no friends?

just send a blank message then without anyone selected and see if that solves it

when u sent the messege dark-tower did the messege pop up and said it was sending to (null)???

When I go to chat actually it just spins the Apple wait icon

1.click "home" button. You can exit from the game interface
2.double-click the "Home" button
3.press Haypi kingdom icon at the bottom of interface for three seconds
4.click "-"icon to close the Haypi kingdom app
5.click "home" again
6.start game

do that then go to pm and just send a message

Ok, I deleted the App and reinstalled it, seems to work now, thank you
