Happened to me spend the money, had the army and rank. Best thing I can tell you is turn to helping newer players as it is refreshing, join in on the forums since this saved me from quitting, and try to help moderate

I haunt been playing for a while either. Game just gets boring.

I was gonna play again in 2.0, but they didn't actually add anything, at all.

Re: goodbye Haypi - I quit

I hate threads like this.
People leaving always have to drag a few people down with them. It's sad to see how they always want to have the last word for their time then convince others to quit as well. But all in all it's ultimately their choice so doesn't matter what I say...

Re: goodbye Haypi - I quit

Came back to the forum out of curiosity, see if anyone agreed.

I'm not bashing anyone who spends on coins. I get that's how the developers make money and that it's a constant that won't change. You can have lots of fun in this game without spending coins... I did... until I max'd out. Then the only thing left to do is attack the top dogs and without buying coins, you'll lose. The good part is that it'll take a couple of fun months to get to that point. If you luck out and get near max while your server is still young, that'll delay the onset of nothing-to-do, but it'll come eventually. My point wasn't to bash the coin-buyers or that you can buy coins, but to express that there's really little to do in Haypi once you're done growing. Yes I can become a moderator and help newbies, but then it's not game play... it's chat. I want to PLAY the game I had fun with for months. When you get to the point where you max out nearly everything, there's really no gaming left, again except if you buy coins and can move your city for every attack.

Ultimately (for me) the best version of Haypi would be one where players somehow use up advances. It could be as complex as your buildings sustaining damage and leveling down a little when you lose a fight on your home turf or as simple as a time thing where you need to pay a fee in gold and/or resources to maintain certain highee levels and advances. That way, you're never permanently maxed out... and there'll always be something do to, even if it's just to maintain your level. (That would help keep the market strong too btw.) Would also help if they lowered the resources from forts so it takes much longer to max out. Speeding up march time to put other active players within reasonable marching distances would be nice too.

Anyway there you go. Have fun while you can. I'd still play if I could start over but it's not something the game allows.

Why do you think becoming a top 10 MUST spend coins?

Move City ?
I never did that

Buy Treasure?
i get all my treasure without spending a coins

You cant find prestige?
Dont you know you can build troop to get prestige? With max city you can get 9k prestige per city if you pay a little time to get resources

Bored?
I try lots of different way to attack ,you will be much bored if you get into top 10,no one attack you,and no one can attack you

Re: goodbye Haypi - I quit

you get bored because you dont really wanna find out the funniest part of this game

you just follow what the previous player has done
why not trying something new?

wanna see a catless army?Thats what i m trying
kill fast , move fast , prestige fast

I have already suicide quite a number of my army so it is not the maximum i got.
As you can see no cat, can you do this?
if you didnt try this you will lost lots of fun
