Help? I win but don't get resources?

I have a lvl 4 break cranny skill and ppl have alot of available resources yet I get 0 after the attack is over? Whats going on? I know I'm still learning to play but this is bugging me

Did u attack a player? Did u have enuf troops?

I send 100-200 troops. A nd yes a player.

Maybe they have no resources and a high cranny?

The have like 30000-60000 of each.

I remember seeing both since I've been playing. Are there different reasons it would show so many resources available and say 0 or be blank?

If they had max cranny and you only had lvl 4 cranny break you wouldn't have been able to take any resources

So can anyone explain how or why I wouldn't get anything and what I can do to improve my chances? I'd like to learn and be educated o. The topic rather then just be told I wouldn't get anything. Help?

Diagos, if I remember right, each lvl of break cranny skill you have allows you to break into their cranny by 5% per level. Therefore if you have a lvl 4 break cranny skill, then you can dip into their cranny by 20%. Now if your opponent has a fully upgraded cranny (which everyone should), then it protects 100k of each resource. Now with your break cranny skill at 4 you can dip into their cranny at 20%, so only 80k of each of their resources are safe from you. But if they are under 80k of each resource, then no matter what you do, you aren't getting anything from them. Either attack cities with more resources stored up or farm forts.
