Admin muting everyone on the pvp server in world chat may fix the issue of server lag.
Re: Global mute world chat in PvP
It might. But maybe because there's just too many people in the server at the same time

Re: Global mute world chat in PvP
Just trying to scale down all the data that the server is being bombarded with has to help. There no real need for a world chat at the start of pvp. I'm just saying it worth a try and I put the idea up in suggestions for the mods to ponder over
Re: Global mute world chat in PvP
Would be a good idea. Just play on the first day of pvp and chat the next day

Great place this idea in the suggestions and it gets an instant lock. Saying it's been discussed before. May have been better to lock this one instead of the suggestion one, as this post will get washed away quicker then in suggestions. Or maybe it was locked for an entirely different purpose.

World Chat is one of the best things about pvp. You can meet friends from other servers and meet new people. I see no reason it should be disabled just because people spam with VIP

I can understand that, but the big reason is that the spamming causes lagging that makes the game nearly impossible to play. i literally can't do anything at all sometimes, just because people are rapidly posting random messages in wc
