Re: Alliance Expansion

I know I've already said it, but i think this would kill quite a bit of competition. And I think thats a bad thing. If you disagree, please tell me why.

Re: Alliance Expansion

I didn't want to read all 16 pages of peoples replys cause their are so many posts.
All i want to say is i agree with vayne's first post on the subject. I like the suggestion and think it would add to the game by allowing more of an interaction between members in an alliance and give a new purpose to being in an alliance and allowing all the members to contribute to the betterment of the the alliance as a whole.
Agreed it would have to grow exponetially for the requirments, but yes i like the model that vayne proposes.

Re: Alliance Expansion

i like the idea as a whole. but i got some doubt on this.
firstly, alliance have been made and disbanned often enough, where does the upgrades and resource goes upon disbanding of alliance?
secondly members are often changing, how to prevent ppl from abusing this system? ie resource refund upon quiting or kick from alliance.
thirdly, there should be a rank structure to prevent overpowering alliance being formed, ie there can only be a certain no. of king, duke, marquis, earl in an alliance. this will help spread out the strong and active players to help the weaker ones instead of farming them.
lastly, coins should not be used in this alliance war chest unless the first 2 item i mentioned had been addressed. benefits of war chest should be control by lvl, ie it is like a warehouse where ppl contributed and save their resource in alliance war chest.
also should there be a city formed upon this where ppl can raid, assist in siege and such? currently, the alliance cant do muchin assisting players to defend against attack. thoughts should be put on this.

Re: Alliance Expansion

So...what about speeding it up with coins?

In my opinion it should be allowed, but at a much much higher cost to speed up ratio.

Like, maybe 200 coins or something for an instant finish or more. I mean, this would be a cool idea with the guild expansion...but i know people who get over 300k money a day easy farming forts and millions of resources.

I think the requirements for expansion should be different then what they are currently suggested.

They should be either:

1. Ratio based per person. As each person has to build up a certain amount of resources themselves. Not just one person. And if someone else wants to take the workload share of someone else, they have to do a multiplier of how much owed. For instance:

-Player A already fulfilled their requirement of 100,000 each of all resources. Player B has only done 50,000 of all resources at the moment. Player A decides to help with the work load, but he incurs a multiplier penalty for helping someone. Player A must pay twice the amount of what he did before. So for every 1 resource he wants to pay off, Player A must pay an extra resource to fulfill that one.

So...2 resources = 1 resource.

Or

2. Again ratio per person, but you can pay in 2 different ways. Resources, or coins. It could even be cheaper in a way of resources. As in right now, 1 coin = 20,000 resources. So one would need 20 coins total at the moment for the 100,000 requirement. But...for extra incentive to pay with coins, maybe they could be a little less. Instead of 20 coins, maybe 15 coins and your done with the payment. This way, since it's so little of a cost, it seems cheap, effective and fast.

(Just a side note, it's a direct deposit. It cannot be cashed into a warehouse or directly into the market)

If someone wanted to pay for someone else with coins, again they would incur a penalty. For instance:

-Player A has finished their requirement of 15 coins for the 100,000 resources of each. He wants to help Player B who has only done 20,000 resources of each, meaning 25% of the total resources needed for his part. Player A incurs a penalty paying for him. Instead of paying 12 coins (its 11.25, but lets just round it up for even numbers) he would pay a multiplier of 25% or .25

So...Player A spends usually 4 coins for 100,000 of each but now he pays 5 coins instead. And of course the higher he goes on the tier of paying for Player B, the lesser amount of coins Player A needs.

I don't know...these are just draft ideas. The goal of this, is to make it more accessible and convenient for Haypi to make money.
Now this is a story all about how YOUR life got flipped, turned upside down, and I'd like a minute so, sit and be merry, I'll tell you how I became the Mother F***ing Gary.
