Sorry to double post, but I had another idea. Instead of troops instantly moving with the city, maybe the city could still move instantly, but the troops would have to walk, just as if they were being dispatched to a different city.
Beware the Artesians!!

Most of the players playing now wern't even playing when this was put into effect and it is now being abused by high lvl players with alot of coins to hurt lower lvl players. It is time for you to address this. The least you could do is put a tempory ban on moving citys untill a better solution can be foung to fix the ballance issue. And it is also the devs duty to think of what can happen when somthing is implemented that is your job. Players don't get paid to think these things through you do.

And with that logic if I get enought players to ask for a magic pony you will give us one . Right?

Re: Please Fix Move City
Yes its sarcasim. But thats the point. A migic pony is just as real as a city moving in a second. And please don't ask me the point in sarcasim because if you don't get it . Well better I don't finnish what i want to say.
Re: Please Fix Move City
Shadetale magic pony or move city in a second. I'll belive in the magic pony first.
Re: Please Fix Move City
It's amazing how many people really dislike the move city option.
If you're playing with tact then it needn't be such a problem.
You're situated randomly on the map with other enemies nearby that could easily do the exact same thing. If you got your troops wiped out by a neighbour, what excuse then?
There's an unbelievable amount of people complaining about this when the problem is easily solved without completely changing the move city option.
There are also so many Alliance leaders that don't help their members by instructing them on keeping their troops out of their cities and using resources rather than wasting them.
Also, it's been said a thousand times that moving your city is 'unrealistic'. Well so is a general that sends his troops out to gather money and treasures instead of defending his city, or a general that buys protection even though he's level 11+ and should be able to defend himself, or recalling troops from hunting instantly when it took them 3 hours to get there to start with.
But I'm sure hardly anyone wants these changed
In any case, there's plenty of options to get around this being such an issue. I doubt a complete change of rules is necessary.
