Re: Gold Danshee almost max

I have a gold meniss w/ jinx II that's pretty decent and I'm satisfied with how often jinx lands. Danshee is a much better choice than meniss tho for 2 reasons, HP and jinx - 3. I can only imagine danshee being a bigger pain to kill than meniss and meniss does well against a lot of monsters. I can guarantee u won't regret training your danshee. I plan to eventually train mine as well. Good luck!

I read from another post that the skill fog might help because it resets the buff of the danshee/meniss's shadow swipe.

Ice skill Fog does erase all buffs/debuffs in battle. Electric net I hear helps, hoping you get an extra few turns in while its paralyzed. For me, Meniss/Danshee is the hardest to catch,

A monster with invalidate talent would help with the Meniss buffing, but who wants to put invalidate on a decent monster just for that??

Re: Gold Danshee almost max

I had given some thought to this and came to the conclusion that starting with a tanky monster Fog, Seduction, Paralysis Powder/Electric Net, and something to heal would work well. The main goal is to limit the chances of the Meniss/Danshee attacking (and thus buffing itself).

-Cygness: Rain Prayer w/Water Therapy II
-Meniss: Hypno Jinx II w/standard heal
-Hypnoe: Paranormal Barrier w/standard heal

Since Purple Rune gems are a pain to get I'm personally going to build an S Paranormal Poe then evolve it into Hypnoe to be my cap monster.

I don't know if Unnerve can drop his MDEF fast enough to have it start using Poison Paw like regular Meniss' but that might be an option as well, but you have to have a method to contend with the Poison. A monster that has Flush would likely also be helpful but the only one I know is our favourite Unicorn so that wouldn't work.

Re: Gold Danshee almost max

Well I made an S Hypnoe with Water Beads (most HP per PP of the heal skills), Fog, Electric Net and Seduction. It does the trick but getting the Danshee down to the appropriate amount of health for the 2% catch rate is pretty hard. I think it needs to be at 5% or lower health which sucks. It'd be rad if I could Fissure/Tangling Vines once and Blizzard/Sandstorm once but that's only 25-30% damage + 64% damage (or only 89-94% damage done).

Either way, I got my 1st Danshee, almost level 40, almost Hypno III, almost S. I can't wait to take it out for a ride.

This looks like a good set with hypnoe.
How many seal "tries" you can make before all of your monsters are dead?

Re: Gold Danshee almost max

I don't know if anyone knows this already, but a great way to catch Ghost-type monsters like Meniss, Danshee and even the weekly wanted monsters like Misfortune, is to obtain a Pinster through special synth and at Lvl 50 it will learn Halve. Use this skill either 5-6 times and it will lower the monster you're trying to capture to less than enough hp to change the catch rate to 2%. It is impossible to kill the opponent with the skill Halve, so it's a guaranteed way to trigger the 2% catch rate. Works every time for me.

Also, a little off topic but Halve is great of reducing Typhox's HP to the absolute lowest possible without triggering Awaken. Helpful for exploration and PvP if you're trying to kill Typhox without Awaken having any effect.
