How does pure work?

"Your monster is unaffected by opponent's additional buffs or debuffs"
The auestion is : would pure block meditation on angel? It says by your opponent but that just be an error. So, would pire block meditation?

I don't get it where's the error?
And I don't think it would block meditation since meditation is not considered as a debuff. Debuffs are the ones that decrease the stats such as War Cry etc..
But again I'm not sure, this is by explaining "logic".
