Inviter code from iOS to Android not working

My friend is attempting to play the app on an android phone, using the inviter code from my account that is logged on an iOS version of the app. However, the code always creates an error saying it is invalid. I've used this code with a couple of other friends without issues. Why it is that he seems to be unable to use my inviter code?

The two codes aren't supposed to be compatible, Android and iOS Haypi run on different Servers.

We regret to inform you that the iOS and Android inviter codes are not crossed. Thus, if you are playing an iOS server, your friend who plays on android device is unable to use your inviter code.
