Neon Skills

Hello!

I have a level 40 neon that's almost S rank after I get enough slimes. What skills should I be looking to teach it?

I got adaptability as the talent

Thanks!

PS, I also have Wharlon, Faerivy, Blaze, Rhor, Boarbarian, Trunky as my epics, are any of them useful?

Teach your neon Super Thunderstorm and/or Thunderstorm and if you wish, Rain Prayer.

Wharlon can be good with Favour, and if you use it, you can teach Rain Prayer to it instead of Neon. When upgraded, it becomes a very strong water type, however a Super Thunderstorm under the rain can easily KO it. I strongly recommend you have this monster if you wish to have a Neon/Rhor in your main team.

Faerivy is a great tank/staller. Paired with Malicious, Underworld Leach, Celestial Prayer and Photosynthesis, it's not only great for PvP/Ladder/Fortune Race, but also good for clearing levels and for exploration since Photosynthesis allows you to regenerate health.

Blaze is a good monster for the early stages, with Super Fire Bomb and Adaptability in the Sun. But unless you are willing to wait for Special Synthesis to give you a Abby for you to upgrade your monster, it's not worth having in your team in the later stages.

Rhor is similar to Neon in that it has Force III. With this and a similar move set to Neon, it easily clears teams under the rain. However the only downside is its horrendous defence.

Once again, Borbarian is great for the early stages, since it is rather tanky and has Earth, Fire, Water and Grass moves. However, since you can't upgrade it or teach it 90-120 power moves, I recommend you replace it as soon as you get better monsters.

Trunky is a tanky ice monster but I do not recommend you use it. Although I haven't had a Trunky or encountered many, its abilities aren't that great and later on you will unlock the choice to purchase a Clawpard, but you won't be able to upgrade it as there isn't any other way of obtaining a second Clawpard.

Hope it helps.

Re: Neon Skills

So is there an ideal team for me now that I have neon and wharlon? Like which monsters should I aim for now?

Also, how do I get more neons for upgrade?

Ppchan,

There is a cave in sealed space 15 expert mode (floor 3) where u can capture a neon with enough seal cards. Here are the other caves that are In expert mode as well.
