Lifesaver, Ghostform/Bodyform

I'm not aware if this issue has been raised before, but seeing as players are increasingly obtaining Hydra, I thought I would mention it.

In Ladder and Fortune Race, if you have a monster with a higher ATK than MATK when facing Hydra with the talent Lifesaver, it will repeatedly spam physical attacks rather than magical. This is extremely frustrating as monsters such as Rhor, Neon and Pattafly which all have higher ATK then MATK will not use lightning strike for e.g. which for killing Hydra with Lifesaver is necessary. Instead they repeatedly spam physical attacks until Hydra kills them.

The same problem exists with the talents Ghostform / Bodyform.

This is an example of pure stupidity displayed by the AI, and needs to be fixed.

i think it SHOULDNT BE FIXED COMPLETELY. What i mean by this phrase is: the idea of talent such as ghostform, bodyform, and lifesaver, is to have an advantage, right? What advatage would you have if ai automatically recognizes the opposite monster talent and reacts in beforehand? that would be frustrating for the opposite player. In conclusion, i would say ai should at least atack once with the auto-skill, and THEN check for special talents such as those to act in response of them.

Yes, I agree with you, that would be an appropriate way of fixing the problem, because at the minute a normal Hydra with Lifesaver can tank a Gold Neon, as he will use all PP in STS and Thunderstorm before using Lightning Strike, but if the AI recognised the talent after failing once like you suggested, that would be much more logical as in PvP that is what you would do.

My main issue is at the minute there is a huge unbalanced advantage to Hydra with this talent due to the AIs programming, and would like to see it fixed before people obtain Hydra just to exploit this. The same modifications should be applied to Ghostform / Bodyform as well.

Anyone else agree?

Yes, I've experienced similar problems with my rhor and patta. But for some reason, my neon seems exceptionally intelligent. It will use ts the first time, but then uses lightning strike the second so I don't know exactly whats going on :?

Neon has higher matk than the other two by far

But with ts having a base 90 atk and neon having an edge on ATK, shouldn't it use thunderstorm continuously?

He'll switch off back and forth, just like neo when you try to catch him in his cave

I know with ghostform in ladder the opponents monster will actually switch out if it doesn't have the right type attack. That is very annoying.
