Pals gift not recieved

I recently had 2 pals reach level 15 and I gifted them both a monster. I did not get the magic egg card in return. Do the pals have to log in to recieve the monster prior to the system sending the return gift??
I gifted the monsters right after they reached level 15, if that matters?

Please tell your pals to login and receive the monsters. If would be better if they do something in the game, such as do trainings or battles. After all these operations, if you cannot receive the rewards, please tell us your and your pals' names. We will look into this for you.

Btw, please also know that one account can get the rewards up to 10 times when pals reach lv15.

I think I might have to check how many i got already, it may be at 10 already.
