How is 30% weak ?
Keep in mind that you can simply load it with 4 healing skills, and it'll be pretty much invulnerable...
Imagine that... 4x .

question is: does needles survive 1 Hit of OELs?

It should.
I can't 1hit most Flights I face in PvP.
Also keep in mind that you can tank your Needles pretty badly with +60 HP, DEF and MDEF. Combine that with Power of Darkness and you have the ultimate tank.

Not really.. it's far too weak. It won't survive 1 hit of pega, baha or chim.
Don't know about the other oel.

185 DEF is a lot. 137 MDEF isn't, but can be upgraded to 207, which is decent.

But certainly, there will be monsters that can 1-hit it.

It's confirmed that thorn 3 deals 30% of damage deals to needles...

I'll confirm that Thorn II in fact reciprocates 30% of the damage it receives back to the sender.

Thorn III is either broken or reciprocates more.

From what I know, Thorn deals damage back depending on how much damage you received.
If you get 1 damage, you are likely to only return 1 damage; but if you lose 60% of your HP, all hell breaks lose on the other side.
