Limiting Expert Privelages to One server per Expert?

If someone is given expert title, it is because they have proven that they know the game and the rules....just because they are on another server doesn't mean they don't have the skills to do the exact same job there....that's like saying 'he learned to ride a bike on a scorcher, but he can't ride another brand bike' -.-

Thats why you ride a multi-sestet where people can keep peadling when your on another bike

Lol I see your points but I think that there are some experts who CAN handle monitoring multiple servers. For example, I monitor server 4 as an expert but I am still active as a normal player and chat monitor on server 2. It just takes organization and time management skill

I might be hated for this but in my personal opinion an expert should be expert in one server and do it as we say here "A donorem" what means just for the will of helping. If I were expert I wouldn't do it just to get coins or free VIP you can be expert and help other players without having benefits for that...

the experts on multiple servers don't do it for those reasons

I didn't even know about the coins until after I was given title. They are nice perks but I still would do this even if I didn't get them. Plain and simple

This Head Expert idea has been suggested and I am fighting for it to be a reality as we speak (well, I have been fighting for it for almost the last week). But all the support is awesome, and I am SURE this will help me plead the case. This is how I have presented the head experts to the devs:

-There would be one head expert per server
-They would be only head expert on one server, if they are chosen to be head expert and have multiple expert accounts, they would either have to choose the one that didn't have one or pick which one they feel best about
-They would be able to view the mute logs
-They would be able to temporarily disable any experts mutes (but note, they would not have the ability to completely remove expert from someone, unless of course you guys feel that would be needed?)
-They would have the power to mail all the experts with one letter, something like the Alliance Mail, but for experts
-They would be able to see a list, much like the alliance member list, and see which experts are currently online (this would also be the place where they would be able to disable mutes)
-They would have the power to give someone the expert status (after talking to the admins directly and go through the appropriate channels with the other experts/mods) - this is up for discussion
-They would also have the ability to give an expert more mutes if they ran out for the day
-Also, they would have the power to change usernames

Head experts would be the person to train new experts and would be there for anyone who has questions. I'm not sure about the unlimited mutes thing, but since these guys WOULD have some admin powers, they would need to be watched very closely. The experts underneath them would go to the Head Expert if they ever questioned anything.

I understand that an expert that holds the titles as expert on multiple servers is because they have performed outstandingly at their tasks. I do not disagree with that. In my view, the majority of the time an expert that holds his title on several servers does a very good job on my home server as well. My concern though is the split of time commitments between servers. I will not use names, but I can think of at least 3 experts on my server that are experts on other servers, and are just not online very often on server 3. I am online throughout the day. One I have not seen in about two weeks, another I have not seen in about 3 weeks to a month, another I still see online, but not recently in the last week or so. Some of these three may have lost the title and thus no longer play on the server much, I could be mistaken in my assumptions. It appears to me though that there are limited expert seats on each server. Personally, I don't think we have quite enough expert coverage on server 3, and if a multi server expert is currently taking a break from the server for whatever the reason may be, it would be nice to make room for a local player who can devote more time to the server. Perhaps if an expert knows that he or she may not be able to moniter a server for a few weeks, they could promote another to a temporary expert. This could also be sued as a sort of assessment on how well that expert is performing his or her duties. This could also be all administrated by the proposed head expert.
