Gambling or Skill Upgrade?

As per the subject title...which one do you guys think is more beneficial to take a chance on first...stat gambling or skill upgrading? In all honesty, with the new gambling addition, im not sure that the latter is nearly as useful anymore? But then again, im not sure about the mechanics behind how much more damage, say...water bombs + 1 has as opposed to just water bombs, etc.

What would you rather spend your silver on in the long haul?

Betting will be better IF you can get + most of the time. Overall ppl has gotten a lot with around say 1-1.5 mil. Betting is the same as lvl'ing up but you are actually paying for it. Say you have all +60, that's like your lvl60 monster is now lvl80. Because we get +2-3 stat per lvl up. I wish they never come out with betting. Now my 7.5mils Setanic is no longer special ;(

looking at the post thats specifically on stat gambling, it seems most people have been blessed with pretty good luck in getting +60 or so. I, myself, cannot afford to use eol or gc's to pump into betting, and have found that the most i can rally for silver is about +40...so i guess in the end, its a decision based if you want reliability to pick skill upgrade as opposed to luck on gambling...but again, i suppose if you're super rich or farm silver heavily then getting both will work ultimately
