Tsunami in team mode

It might just be me and my bad luck, but In team mode, Barren lands to be precise. The first round: Partner casts RP, I cast tsunami (lvl 59 S pewg), Maybe 1 out of 20 battles will tsunami hit both opponents. I know it's still considered a sandstorm until round ends but when Tsunami casts, It will hit 1 opponent, and the other opponent doesn't move like it dodged. Nor does it say anything in the battle log like, "you miss frizzy" or "Brawny dodges". It just says "Frizzy is hit" 1 time and that's all.

If it is because of dodge increase from sandstorm then should it not say "xxxx dodges attack"??

Now of course in second rounds after RP is in place tsunami seems to hit like it should.
Anyone else notice this?

+1 there is no dodge animation or notification that theres a dodge, strange.

seems like im not the only one with this issue!
i always thought its my laggy device or i was too stupid to not notice it.

This has been here since V1.2 if I remember correctly.
Ever Frozen Cavern came out, the missing animation glitches up every now and then.
