Hello I fell like a noob because no matter what I try I can't get above 20 in ladder. My team: hippo-(s)50(unbending) POD, kamikaze-1, smack, and lightning blast drac-(c)60(thorn-2) fire blast, super fire bomb, cel. Prayer, and wild fire neon(a)53(adapt) (I would have red to s, but he was born with adapt. Lightning blast, smack, lightning strike, and body slam. Pegway(s)48(taunt) absorption, eruption spring, water blast, and rain prayer smiter(a)52(poison point-2) razor leaves, curse, hypnotize, and smack. My breedable monsters: smiter, meniss, pewgway, neon, pattafly, scythe, blocky, flaunt, clawpard, cygness, and funkis. Please give me as many tips and pointers as possible.

I know for a fact that Invalidate can work miracles in Ladder.

However, to be honest, your Hippo build is horrible .
I'd try to cover as many popular elements as possible.

eg: if Fire and Water are popular monsters in your Server, get something like PoD, Water Bombs, Thunderstorm and Boulder/Poison Leaves.

Also, I'd suggest you to get a Resurrection Scythe.

Get a full team of 60's Atleast

Stop using the Draco get 2 res scythe
1st scythe pod martyrdom sand strom massive bolder
2nd scythe pod massive bolder iaijutsu (bolder)

And always put 2 scythe together

Either it hippo 1st scythe 2nd scythe Levi or Levi 1st scythe 2nd scythe hippo

And try to get penetrate on hippo and teach him pod iaijutsu poisonleaves/water bomb and bolder

This line up keep me in top ten all this time among the armies of legendaries

He doesn't have a Leviathan .

Sorry didn't see that you don't have Levi

But Pattafly is also a good epic Pattafly can last longer and hits harder than smiter with poison point it can also counter resssurect martyrdom scythe too
