If Pvp fights relied solely in strenght, there's no point in teaching your monster any supplement skills. I guess if you want the game to be like that... May as well not make everyone's monster lvl 60 to really show whose monsters are strongest. It wouldn't be much different from ladder. I can only see oel, hippo, and flight users excelling this way. Oel are way more powerful and physical type monsters don't have to worry about element weakness.
