Well, obviously the damage recieved in the 3rd turn (PoD casted) would be lower, as PoD raised my (M)Def.

Again that's not what Im asking. You're test does not find out if pod is effective the turn it it used or if it goes into effect the next turn...

It is, the damage dealt during the turn PoD is casted is the same as it was without PoD.
You should be able to do the further math yourself.
Finally back on track and ready to help you guys :D!

Re: Question about power of darkness

It was always notable for me, at least, that POD doesn't work like weather, and takes effect right after being casted.

I took some numbers from my Pvp battles vs bots.

That case i used my Neon with Pod and testing him vs blockies.

First turn:

I click Pod, and neon casts its first.

Then rocky use rock fall and hits my Neon from 202 to 148 Hp.

Next fight i dont use Pod at all, and blocky hits my Neon from 202 to 116 Hp.

I tested this at least two times and that's the results i got.

to be honest i already noticed that mechanic long time ago.

Casting POD on ur scythe in the same turn ur about to get a water torrent +X from pewgways wont result in a 1OHKO, that would otherwise happen.

Also a clear example is that when i faced a chimera and i tried to skip POD on my scythe + flight and went for attacking moves in turn 1, chimera played first, casted pod, and actually survived a boulder +2 and Injuatsu +1 on turn 1, something that would have never happen without POD.

Re: Question about power of darkness

Stat boost from PoD works instantly after being cast just like other stat boosting skills

Weather will take effect the next turn unless its from talent

It's really sadly, how so called veteran-players give wrong information. As Ache said, effect is instantly

Why, I am sorry that I experienced something else.

Re: Question about power of darkness

Unfortunately , I got a reply from the support and said " If it's used in last of the turn , it won't take effect in that turn." so it is confirmed it takes effect same turn :/

We all make mistakes , and you just judge them from a mistake you don't see the help they do daily

"Don't judge a person from one mistake. Whether you like it or not, it happens. You just have to learn to forgive and forget."

The ones "help" here are mostly the ones, who want to show off. Not really to help. ;)

This doesn't prove anything to be honest o.o.
He just says that if it's used as the last skill, it won't affect the earlier damage done :|.

I think what he means that it is obviously takes effect in the same turn but it doesn't if it is used the last. the answer could be more clear though. lol.
